Based in Myrtleville, Hive Mind allows individuals and companies to make positive ecological moves in preserving honey bee populations whilst gaining a bounty of organic honey in the process.
We buy Hive Mind honey for our kitchens and sell individual jars to guests.

We received a Pieta House Amber Flag in 2018. The Pieta House Amber Flag initiative is in its fourth year and around 600 flags have been awarded to date. The initiative recognises the efforts of participants to create healthy, inclusive environments that support mental well-being.
In May 2018 we were the recipients of an inaugural ‘Cork Healthy Cities’ Psyched Award. This award focuses solely on the business community’s efforts in employee wellness and mental health in the workplace.

Creating a business that delivered a very positive colleague experience was at the top of the agenda for us, when in 2007, we first opened the doors of Market Lane restaurant in Cork city centre, as was the customer experience we were determined to create.
Grown.ie, an Irish company from whom we have begun to purchase uniforms for our restaurants. Grown only use fabrics and processes which are kind to the environment and plant a tree for each garment that is purchased. The fact that they are fire fighting surfers simply seals the deal. Our restaurant group provides a paid day off for colleagues who would like to volunteer for a charity of their choice on that day.
